The best 3D platformer on a Nintendo console since Mario 64.
Tonnes of awesome easter eggs and secrets.
The term 'galaxy' shouldn't be taken lightly with this game. It incorporates 360 degree motion, which left me dizzy and disoriented at times. I finished the game with 120 stars and a lot of stress in between, but fortunately for those non-gamers, only 60 is required which I think is a good way of compensating for the difficulty of some stages especially since the Super Mario series are usually for all types of gamers. I really enjoyed the plotline and 2-player mode proved to make things a little easier. Music was a go-getter introducing new tunes but also those from previous series. I guess the downside was that it became a little tedious. I played it for a few months straight and then just stopped and then started again until I managed to complete it. Controls and camera angles proved annoying at times. But all-in-all 4 stars for innovation, plot, music and just the overall Super Mario brand.
