Your take on the new halo 3 magnum?
I think its a pretty balanced weapon. Its usefull in campaign against grunts. I could wish it had the zoom like in halo 1, but thats part of the balance. If the scope is on then it is probably going to be used more than a sniper. People dont see the usefullness of it. You just got to know how to use it first. I set up training grounds on last resort, the pit, and sometimes maybe high ground.
Thats an awesome review of halo 3's magnum.Although I never found the scope usefull....I never use it online but on campaign I had to use it a lot since i play legendary more than anything o.0
its true its a balanced weapon but there are so many better one handed weapons compared to the magnum, including the plasma pistol. its an average weapon for campaign but is outdone by any other one handed weapon
I think its one of the most underrated weapons in the game. I get complaints that im hacking when I beat people with only the pistol. they really think it is inpossible to use efectivly. by no means can it match a shoty and br combo but on a level like guardian it is perfect to use with a healthy ammount of grnades and beatdowns.
