In F.E.A.R. you aren't a soldier -- you are a weapon. A paramilitary force infiltrates a multi billion dollar aerospace compound taking hostages, but issuing nodemands. The government responds by sending in its best special operations teams, only to have them obliterated. Live footage of the massacre is cut short by an unexpected wave of destruction that leaves military leaders stunned and in disbelief. With no other option, they send in the ultimate warrior: You.
The game has a cool look to it and could be a great game, but it's lacking. There isn't enough bad guys to fight in the game and there are too many slow points in the game. It does have a good creepy feel to it but... i don't know I just got bored with it after awhile. A good game to rent and try out though.
Came for the shooting, stayed for the... well, out of principle. Not really scary, not really a spectacular FPS. It barely held my attention long enough for me to want to return it.
Defining Moment: When the little girl popped out at you or whatever I guess. That was kinda spooky. YAWN.
A completely average shooter. The high points are that there are some truly suspenseful and freaky parts. The low points are that it wallows in mediocrity. I played it a while ago and I can't remember much about it.
the level design is actually very repetitive, dont know what the fuss is all about, otherwise a solid shooter
A fun game with experinced of throwing nades in ppl's faces and kicking them in the face, a must play
