Quote-leftThis game's graphics are absolutely amazing. The strategy gameplay experience is very similar to that of Homeworld, but instead of claiming resource locations, you claim planets. However, the lack of a storyline takes half the fun out of the game. PC games designed specifically for multiplayer and nothing else become boring after a while, especially when no one even hosts any multiplayer games in the first place. It's a shame that this game doesn't have a single player campaign, because if it did, I would have liked it a lot more and would be a lot more willing to play it more often. It feels like part of the game is missing, especially since there are three different races, but no explaination or storyline to go along with them. It definitely could have been a much better game than it is.Quote-right

Quote-leftAddictive for the first week, but very arb gameplay and strategy. Strategy does not really vary between the races, so once the Explore, Expand, Exploit and Exterminate rule is applied, the game looses all its luster.Quote-right

Quote-leftI've played this, worth a bit of fun sometimes.Quote-right

Quote-leftThe lack of single player campaign was a huge letdown considering they put effort on the openning Cg. Otherwise, this is a great game to play, slow paced but interesting!Quote-right

Quote-leftBah. Played it for a while, enjoyed it but couldn't get over the fact that it's all played in 2d with forced set routes between systems. They're frikken space ships!
They can go up and down as well. sheesh.
Homeworld did a better job of this years ago (though yes, it was missing the empire/planet management aspect).Quote-right

Quote-leftHuge game with expansive universe.... only down side is it does get rather repetative and its a bit TOO big that all your really controlling once the game gets going are blips on a map.Quote-right

Quote-leftLuved this game. Then im a MOO fan. Cool space battles, but if you fall behind in ship bulding, then you are done. The enemies neve stopp buliding and will outnumber you fast.Quote-right

Quote-leftEpic RTS plain and simple galactic conquest on a scale unrivaled in any RTSQuote-right

Quote-leftA wierd little game. It is all set up as an RTS, which to me suggests unrealism, stress, boredom and annoyance, but it actually manages to be quite fun. Not as grand as the old MOO-games, but at least as variable despite no choices other than of what race you play. It is fun for now, I am not sure how long the honeymoon will last though.Quote-right
